Relief Social Care Worker - Co. Carlow
Odyssey Social Care are seeking energetic Relief Social Care Workers to join our residential care team based in Co. Carlow. In your role, you will act as a support and care worker for young people in the house, working towards achieving better outcomes for young people every day.
As a Social Care Worker, your responsibilities will include contributing to needs assessments, implementing aspects of Placement, Behaviour Support (BSP), and Individual Crisis Management (ICMP) Plans to meet assessed needs. You will use the Odyssey Model of Care to teach new skills to young people and manage challenging behaviour. You will also connect young people with local resources, network with local providers, and liaise closely with parents, carers, and referral agencies. The role involves evening, weekend, and residential shift work.
Salary: €225 for 15-hour shifts, €367.50 for 24.5-hour shifts.
Location: Millhaven Lodge, Co. Carlow, Moneybeg, Co. Carlow, Ireland.

What you bring:
* Minimum Level 7 qualification in Social Care or a relevant related qualification registered with CORU
* Relevant qualifications include: Psychology (Level 8), Level 7 in Child and Adolescent Psychotherapy, Counselling/Psychotherapy, Addiction Counselling, Youth and Community Work, Social Sciences/Social Studies, Family Support, Disability Studies, Applied Behavioural Analysis, Early Years Care, BA Applied Policing, Higher Certificate in Custodial Care, Teaching, Nursing
* A full Irish manual driving licence
