Senior Site Manager – Cork

Key Responsibilities
Manage a safe worksite above all competing factors at all times.
Manage a safe workforce, including direct staff and subcontractors.
Liaise with consultants, subcontractors, supervisors, planners, quantity surveyors, and the general workforce involved in the project.
Drive the project forward by anticipating requirements.
Review plans and drawings, and supervise subcontractors across the project.
Plan work efficiently, ensuring strict deadlines are met.
Oversee quality control and quality measures on sites.
Resolve unexpected technical difficulties in consultation with Design Managers.
Communicate clearly to all stakeholders.
Attend regular meetings with clients, architects, and consultants, keeping them informed of progress.
Coordinate quality management and BCAR.
Ensure energy management aligns with our Energy program.
Handle technical queries and interface with the client, consultant, and architect regarding RFIs.
Qualifications / Experience
Over 10 years of experience, ideally within a main or specialist contractor.
Experience in low‑rise traditional masonry builds of 20+ residential units.
Trade background welcome.
Excellent communication skills.
Team player who can build effective relationships at all levels.
Strong interpersonal skills and confidence to lead.
In‑depth knowledge of the construction industry and project execution.
Computer literate with familiarity in MS Office, Excel, project, or a similar scheduling package.
Good knowledge of safety and quality management.
Ability to mentor and motivate the team with confidence.
