The successful candidate will bring both technical expertise and a commitment to safety, collaboration, and performance excellence.Responsibilities include but are not limited to:Production OperationsSet up, operate, and monitor injection moulding machines and auxiliary equipment.Perform in-process quality checks and adjust machine settings (temperature, pressure, cycle times) to ensure consistent output.Conduct regular equipment inspections and perform routine maintenance to reduce downtime.Troubleshoot production and machine-related issues efficiently.Quality & ComplianceInspect finished parts for dimensional accuracy, cosmetic appearance, and material performance.Maintain accurate production and quality documentation.Support root cause analysis and corrective actions for any product non-conformances.Ensure compliance with ISO standards and internal quality protocols.Safety & MaintenanceAdhere strictly to all health and safety procedures and wear appropriate PPE.Keep work areas clean, safe, and organized at all times.Carry out preventive maintenance and report any equipment issues promptly.Collaboration & CommunicationWork closely with production supervisors, quality personnel, and maintenance teams to meet daily output targets.Communicate clearly on production status, challenges, and improvement opportunities.Take part in continuous improvement, lean initiatives, and technical training.Job Requirements:Minimum 2 years of experience operating or maintaining injection moulding machinery.Familiarity with moulding processes, materials, and troubleshooting techniques.Strong working knowledge of measurement tools such as calipers, gauges, and micrometers.Ability to read technical drawings and specifications accurately.Willingness and flexibility to work shifts, including nights and weekends.Desirable Qualifications:Technical certification in Plastics Engineering, Toolmaking, or Manufacturing Technology.Experience with Engel, Arburg, Battenfeld, or Sumitomo Demag machinery.Exposure to robotic systems, automation, and lean manufacturing environments.Previous work experience in a medical device, plastics, or high-precision manufacturing setting.What's on Offer:Competitive hourly rate or salary depending on experienceTraining and development on modern injection moulding technologiesOpportunity to work with advanced robotics and automation systemsLong-term progression within a quality-focused, stable companyImmediate interviews available for suitable candidates.Note: By applying for this position, you may also be considered by Pale Blue Dot Recruitment for other relevant opportunities.Pale Blue Dot Recruitment - Experts in STEM Workforce Solutions
