Occupational Therapist Role Summary
This role involves working with adults with intellectual disabilities to provide a high-quality, person-centred occupational therapy service.
* Key Responsibilities:
* Provide occupational therapy services to adults with intellectual disabilities
* Support the provision of a multidisciplinary team at Cheeverstown
* Assist technology clinics for adults with intellectual and physical disabilities
* Hold a key role in falls management programme and environmental assessment of properties
Requirements:
* Diploma or degree in Occupational Therapy from a recognised third-level institution
* Registered as an Occupational Therapist with CORU and maintain CORU registration
* At least 3 years satisfactory post-qualification experience, with experience in the disability sector an advantage
* Excellent leadership, communication, and organisational skills
* Up-to-date knowledge of current thinking and practice in services for people with intellectual disabilities
* Highly motivated, flexible, and committed to working as part of a team
* Full driving license and own vehicle
