Business Assistant
We are hiring a detail-oriented and highly reliable Part-Time Business Assistant to support a US-based business owner with bookkeeping, organization, and operational follow-through.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys owning financial admin tasks, keeping leaders accountable, and ensuring nothing falls through the cracks. Bookkeeping is the top priority, followed closely by organization and administrative support, with light marketing coordination as needed.
Key Responsibilities:
* Reconciling bank statements accurately and on time
* Categorizing transactions and maintaining clean financial records
* Supporting basic bookkeeping workflows and documentation
* Tracking deadlines, open tasks, and follow-ups
* Proactively reminding leadership of priorities and next steps
* Ensuring operational tasks are completed on time
* Preparing and sending client invoices
* Tracking invoice status and follow-ups
* Assisting with newsletters and email campaigns
* Polishing marketing materials and reports
* Helping package financial reports to look professional and client-ready
* Reviewing website drafts with designers and tracking completion
Candidate Requirements:
* Minimum 2+ years of experience in a similar Business Assistant / Virtual Assistant role supporting US clients
* Hands-on bookkeeping experience, including reconciliations
* Excellent written and spoken English
* Strong knowledge (8/10+) of Google Suite, MS Office, Asana or Trello or
* Understanding of business operations, finance, or sales processes
