ServiceNow is seeking a highly driven Inside Sales/Account Executive to prospect into new accounts, expand usage within existing customer base, and ensure customers realize value from the NOW Platform.
The role focuses on new business pipeline generation, ideally over the telephone within an Enterprise capacity, and requires collaboration with Sales Specialists, Solution Consultants, Renewal Sales, and other teams to exceed quota.
Responsibilities
Meet or exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual sales objectives.
Manage sales opportunities and relationships over the telephone with influential contacts within Small, Mid-Market, and Commercial Accounts.
Understand an organization's business drivers, challenges, and pain points and map ServiceNow solutions to them.
Strategically prospect within key verticals to develop new opportunities and pipeline.
Follow the Value Selling process to win new business, expand within existing accounts, and ensure contract renewals.
Collaborate with extended teams and coordinate resources to advance the sales cycle (e.g., Solution Consultants, Customer Service, Partners).
Provide timely, accurate information to management (forecasting, territory plans, strategic account plans).
Work toward daily, monthly, and quarterly KPI metrics (e.g., new prospect meetings, pipeline generation, ACV bookings, renewal rates).
Mentor team members and contribute to collaborative projects to deliver value.
Occasional travel for training and/or meetings may be required.
Qualifications
Experience leveraging AI in work processes, decision-making, or problem-solving (e.g., AI-powered tools, automating workflows, analyzing AI-driven insights).
Track record of success in telesales, lead follow-up, cold calling, or new business sales.
1-3+ years of full sales cycle experience in software or solution sales.
Experience selling enterprise solutions via telephone and video conferencing.
Strong understanding of the sales process and ability to navigate complex sales cycles.
Knowledge of sales automation, ERP, or IT infrastructure management technologies is a plus.
Web-based presentation skills are advantageous.
Excellent listening, verbal, and written skills; strong relationship-building with customers and internal teams.
Persistent and dependable with attendance, deliverables, and deadlines.
