Primary Function
This senior role involves maintaining and developing site infrastructure and environmental sustainability, including reducing greenhouse emissions, energy, water use, and waste. It ensures a safe and productive environment for employees, requiring excellent stakeholder management and influencing skills across all organizational levels.
Responsibilities
* Facilities: Manage hard services (building fabric, roads, landscape, access control, security) and soft services (catering, cleaning to GMP standards). Oversee budget planning, control, reporting, establish service agreements, coordinate schedules, monitor contractor performance, and conduct cost analysis for facilities management and projects.
* Utilities: Manage energy supply and distribution (electricity, natural gas), and utilities plant (CHP units, steam boilers, air compressors, refrigeration, HVAC).
* Service Governance: Ensure service providers meet service levels and follow EHS and GMP standards.
Education Required
* Bachelor’s Degree, preferably in Engineering.
Knowledge & Skills
* 10+ years experience in operations or manufacturing environments.
* Experience managing outsourced services and leading service providers.
* Familiarity with plant and equipment management, maintenance programs, and continuous improvement methodologies.
* Strong communication skills in English, proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint.
* Ability to lead change, collaborate across organizational levels, and solve problems effectively.
