Position Summary
STS Technical Services is partnering with a premier air cargo carrier to hire experienced A&P Mechanics in Waterford, Michigan.
This is a contract-to-direct opportunity offering long-term stability and the ability to transition into a direct hire role with a growing aviation operation.
This carrier operates a diverse fleet of 22 aircraft, including Falcon 20s, CRJs, Convairs, ATRs, and Boeing 727s, supporting ad-hoc cargo services and contract charter operations for major logistics providers.

Job Responsibilities
Perform maintenance, inspections, troubleshooting, and repairs on assigned aircraft
Ensure all work is completed in compliance with FAA regulations and company standards
Read and interpret aircraft maintenance manuals and technical documentation
Complete required maintenance records and documentation accurately
Support scheduled and unscheduled maintenance operations
Work collaboratively with team members to return aircraft to service safely and efficiently
Qualifications
Minimum of 2 to 3 years of recent aircraft maintenance experience
Hands-on experience with at least one of the following aircraft:
Boeing 727
CRJ (Canadair Regional Jet)
ATR
Falcon
Convair
Ability to work in a fast-paced operational environment
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in cargo or charter operations
Familiarity with Part 121 or Part 135 environments
Flexibility to work various shifts, including nights and weekends
