Hitachi Energy Ireland has an exciting opportunity for a Service Facility Coordinator.
You will take full responsibility for the day-to-day operation of our new Service Facility, ensuring the site runs safely, efficiently, and supports the wider Service team.
This role manages deliveries, stock, equipment, and general workshop activities while maintaining a high standard of organisation and safety across the building.
Location: Ireland, Dublin 11 (Please note we are unable to provide visa support for this position) How you'll make an impact: Facility Operations Open and close the facility daily; act as the on-site point of contact.
Maintain a clean, safe, compliant, and well-organised building Coordinate contractors, maintenance providers, and facility services.
Carry out routine H&S checks, inspections, and housekeeping standards.
Deliveries & Logistics Manage all inbound and outbound deliveries.
Receive, inspect, document, and store materials and equipment.
Support occasional delivery/collection activities as required.
Workshop & Project Support Provide general labour support for workshop repairs, builds, and refurbishment activities.
Ensure all tools and equipment are cleaned, organised, and maintained.
Track equipment certification and ensure compliance before deployment Stock & Inventory Management Perform stock checks, cycle counts, and record all inventory accurately.
Maintain organised storage areas and highlight low-stock levels.
Support materials staging for upcoming service jobs and projects.
Health, Safety & Compliance Ensure facility operations fully comply with internal H&S policies and Irish regulations.
Support hazard reporting, safety walks, and toolbox talks.
Act as the first responder for on-site safety or compliance queries General Support Assist the Service team with day-to-day operational needs.
Help prepare vehicles, load materials, and organise staging for jobs.
Contribute to continuous improvements across facility operations.
Your Background: Experience in a warehouse, workshop, logistics, or facilities environment.
Strong organisational and time-management skills.
Ability to work independently and take ownership of the site.
Basic mechanical/electrical or workshop experience beneficial.
Forklift licence (or willingness to obtain).
