The primary purpose of the Depots Team is to provide efficient and reliable support to delivery teams, while maintaining a high standard of security, adhering to established work practices, and ensuring strict operational controls are applied to both indoor and outdoor activities.
Key Responsibilities
The custody and security of stocks and stores premises
The physical movement of stocks in and out of stores
The implementation of a wide range of stores procedures and regulations
The control of bulk issue materials
The operation and use of computer systems, forklifts and stores handling equipment
Ensure materials are kept accurate on the stock account
Support stock control of 3rd party material depots
Experience and Qualifications
Leaving Certificate or equivalent work experience is essential.
A working knowledge in the use of Information Technology
An appreciation of stores operations
An ability to work with all staff groups to provide an effective storekeeping service
Full Driver's Licence
Location
This position will be based in ESB Networks Depot in Longford.
