Key Responsibilities
* Ensure payment certificates are processed, and payments are made per the agreed sub-contract and procurement terms. Retentions apply as per agreements.
* The Quantity Surveyor will be tasked with administering the contract obligations and meet additional Client requirements. Issue interim and final accounts and progress applications per project and contract requirements. Monthly applications to be all inclusive of accurate remeasures, site changes, dayworks and any applicable contract claims.
* Monitor subcontractor performance and certify payments based on work completed.
* Ensure that projects are operated in line with the tender prices submitted and tender estimates.
* Monitor and control project costs throughout the lifecycle.
* Provide accurate financial reporting and support weekly P&L reviews.
* Handle claims, disputes, and variations during the project.
* Manage and control project costs, budgets, and forecasts for telecoms projects.
* Tracking and Analysing crew daily out-puts and report same to wider team.
* Liaise with the wider project team regularly for cost control purposes / profit and loss reviews.
* Assist the Project Manager to ensure change management processes to capture change are enforced on all projects in line with commercial change procedures.
* Identify and manage commercial risks and opportunities.
* Track progress and prepare budget and progress reports.
* Conduct site visits as required to ensure compliance with project specifications and standards.
* Prepare, negotiate, and analyse costs for tenders and contracts.
* Prepare detailed cost estimates for materials, labour, and equipment.
* Conduct value engineering to identify cost-saving opportunities without compromising quality.
* Attend relevant training courses and briefings as and when requested.
* Any other reasonable work-related duties as requested by the TLI Group Management team
About the role
Due to continued growth and an increase in available contracts, we are seeking a Quantity Surveyor to join our Telecoms team. This role will play a key part in managing costs, ensuring compliance, and supporting the successful delivery of telecoms projects across Ireland.

* BSc / MSc degree in Quantity Surveying
* Min. 2 years of post-grad QS experience
* Relevant Technical Qualification
* Safe Pass
* Driving License
* Valid working rights within Ireland / EU
Knowledge
* Very good English language skills, both written and verbal.
* Commercial awareness.
* Knowledge of Irish construction contracts, procurement routes, and commercial best practices.
* Highly organised with excellent negotiation and analytical skills.
* Comfortable using a range of technology tools (training will be provided).
* Proficient use and knowledge of software such as Word, Excel & Outlook.
* Analytical, detail oriented, high level of flexibility with willingness to learn/develop.
* Ability to prioritise tasks & work to tight deadlines
* The ability to be able to read network maps.
