Head of Insurance OperationsWe're looking for a strategic leader to head up Insurance Operations at Aviva Life & Pensions Ireland (ALPI). If you're passionate about shaping the future of protection insurance and leading high-performing teams, this is your opportunity to make a real impact**.Duties & Responsibilitie**s:Lead end-to-end servicing for Group and Individual Protection products, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and customer focus.Oversee medical underwriting and claims management, balancing fairness, risk, and commercial viability.Drive continuous improvement and innovation, leveraging technology to enhance efficiency.Manage budgets and optimise resource capacity across onshore and offshore teams.Champion governance, risk management, and regulatory compliance across all operation**s.Skills & Experienc**es:Deep knowledge of Group and Individual Protection products, including underwriting and claims.Strong understanding of Irish regulatory frameworks (Fitness & Probity, Consumer Protection Code, Solvency II).Proven leadership experience managing large, multi-site teams and regulated functions.Expertise in operational strategy, process optimisation, and change management.Excellent stakeholder engagement and relationship management skills.Experience driving digital transformation and implementing new technologies in underwriting and clai**ms.Fitness and Pro**bityThis is a Regulated Role and will be subject to enhanced pre-employment screening procedures.
