The individual will play a key role in supporting all aspects of our non-US corporate income tax matters. This individual will also have opportunities to assist other aspects of the corporate tax function. Our ideal candidate is a highly motivated and collaborative individual with relevant corporate tax experience and an eagerness to learn.ResponsibilitiesIn this role, you'll:Manage the end-to-end corporate income tax compliance cycle for all EMEA entities supervising and co-ordinating the work of the international tax team.Serve as the primary technical point of contact with external advisors, including information gathering, managing deadlines, and performing a detailed, substantive review of all prepared tax returnsCritically analyze and review tax positions and calculations provided by external advisors to ensure accuracy and timely compliancePartner with the international accounting team to support the review of tax-related disclosures (current and deferred tax) for local statutory financial statementsAssist in both the preparation and review of the quarterly and annual US GAAP (ASC 740) tax provision process for the EMEA region.Assist in monitoring respective countries' tax law update, and performing tax research, interpretation and documentation on the Company's tax position and treatmentAssist in developing and maintaining strong internal control and governance over foreign income tax compliance and reportingProactively identify opportunities to improve tax compliance and local tax reporting processes including automation to drive efficiency and scalabilityCoach and develop junior team membersQualificationsTwilio values diverse experiences from all kinds of industries, and we encourage everyone who meets the required qualifications to apply.
