Based in Dublin, this role will draw on strong Quantity Surveying and General Contractor experience to manage pricing strategy, contractor engagement, and internal quotation processes across multiple product sets.The role will also have responsibility for leading and developing the quotations team, setting standards for scope definition, pricing models, and bid governance.Key ResponsibilitiesLead and manage the full bid lifecycle, from tender receipt through to final submissionReview tender documents, scopes of work, and contract requirements to ensure accurate and compliant bidsDevelop and own pricing models across all product sets and project typesManage and mentor the quotations team, ensuring consistency, accuracy, and timely deliveryCoordinate inputs from sales, engineering, procurement, and operations to build complete bid submissionsEngage with main contractors, subcontractors, and suppliers to obtain competitive pricingApply strong commercial judgement to risk, margin, and value engineering decisionsSupport senior stakeholders with bid strategy, commercial insights, and tender reviewsEnsure governance, approvals, and bid documentation are completed in line with internal controlsContribute to continuous improvement of bid processes, tools, and commercial frameworksQualifications, Experience & SkillsEducation:Degree in Quantity Surveying, Commercial Management, or equivalentExperience:Significant experience as a Senior Quantity Surveyor, Commercial Manager, or Bid ManagerProven experience managing tenders, contractors, and complex scopes of workBackground working for a General Contractor, ideally Tier 2, on large-scale projectsExperience leading or managing a quotations or commercial teamStrong understanding of construction contracts, procurement routes, and cost controlSkillsStrong commercial and financial acumen with advanced pricing and cost modelling capabilityExcellent stakeholder management and negotiation skillsAbility to manage multiple bids and competing deadlines simultaneouslyHigh attention to detail and strong governance mindsetClear, confident communication at senior stakeholder levelLeadership capability with a collaborative, hands-on approachStay connected with us onLinkedInfor insights into life at Tate.Tate is an equal-opportunity employer.
