Real Estate Solicitor (13 PQE) | Cork An excellent opportunity has arisen for a Real Estate Solicitor (13 years PQE) to join the Cork office of my client, a leading Irish commercial law firm. This role offers the opportunity to work closely with an experienced partner specialising in property, planning and development, advising on a broad range of residential, mixed-use and commercial property matters. You will contribute to the delivery of complex development projects from site acquisition and planning through to completion, funding and post-completion matters. The Role You will manage a varied and high-quality caseload while gaining exposure to sophisticated development and transactional work. Key responsibilities will include: Managing residential and commercial conveyancing transactions from instruction to completion, including sales, purchases, transfers, re-mortgages and voluntary transfers Acting for developers, investors, lending institutions and private clients on acquisitions and disposals of commercial and mixed-use property Advising corporate and private clients on landlord and tenant matters, planning issues and development-related transactions Drafting, reviewing and negotiating contracts for sale, commercial leases, agreements for lease, deeds of assignment, transfers, licences, easements and wayleaves Liaising with financial institutions in secured lending transactions, including preparation and registration of security documentation Advising on property elements within broader corporate transactions Handling first registrations, mapping queries, rights of way issues and title rectifications Maintaining strong file management, billing and case compliance procedures Supporting business development initiatives and maintaining strong client relationships Collaborating with colleagues across corporate, litigation and private client teams to deliver seamless client service The Candidate The successful candidate will: Be a qualified solicitor in Ireland with 13 years PQE in real estate/property law Have strong experience in development, commercial conveyancing and planning-related matters Demonstrate excellent drafting ability and attention to detail Display strong commercial awareness and a client-focused approach Be collaborative, proactive and keen to take ownership of matters Possess strong communication and interpersonal skills The Opportunity This is a standout opportunity for a junior solicitor looking to deepen their development-led real estate experience within a progressive and growing Cork-based team.
