Senior Manager Role for Accounting Team
We are seeking a seasoned Senior Manager to lead our accounting team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing a portfolio of clients, overseeing daily operational escalations and issues, and assisting in the onboarding of new clients.
About This Role
* This is a senior-level position that requires ACA/ACCA/CPA qualification and 4-5 years' post-qualified experience working in practice or financial services.
* The ideal candidate will have proven ability to mentor and train qualified accountants, strong written and verbal communication skills, and experience in managing training, development, and workload of accounting team staff.
Key Responsibilities
* Managing a portfolio of clients, including main contact with internal and external stakeholders.
* Assisting senior accountants in client onboarding and providing support with day-to-day operations.
* Overseeing internal control of accounting processes, monitoring staff performance, and providing necessary coaching and mentoring.
* Contributing to a high-performance team by focusing on team development, satisfying work experiences, and accountability for team results and performance.
