Job Title: Medical Physics Leader
Leading a team of medical physicists, you will oversee the development and implementation of radiation oncology physics services in a state-of-the-art cancer centre. This role requires exceptional leadership skills, combined with expertise in clinical, scientific, and strategic aspects.
* Oversee treatment planning systems to ensure accurate verification and dosimetry results.
* Promote innovation through capital projects such as LINAC replacement/commissioning, TPS upgrades, imaging, and adaptive workflows.
To succeed in this position:
-Manage multidisciplinary teams to foster collaboration between Radiation Oncology staff members.<-Lead safety forums while adhering to regulatory requirements for quality assurance.-Administrate budgets effectively while implementing cost-saving strategies within service contracts. ----------------------------------- Required Skills & Qualifications
PhD or MSc degree from an accredited program related discipline (e.g., Medical Imaging). Obtain relevant expert registration either from Ireland or European/UK training organizations;
