Contract DevOps Engineer (Azure / AKS)
12-Month Contract | Dublin | Hybrid (2 Days Onsite)
My client in Dublin is seeking an experienced DevOps Engineer for a long-term contract focused on building and operating secure Azure Kubernetes (AKS) platforms. The role follows a hybrid model with two days onsite per week and flexibility around remote working.
Role Overview
1. Design and operate AKS environments
2. Support containerised workloads using GitOps
3. Build and maintain Azure DevOps CI/CD pipelines
4. Manage infrastructure using Terraform and/or Bicep
5. Embed security and least-privilege principles across platforms and pipelines
6. Work with Cilium and modern Kubernetes security tooling
Key Requirements
7. Strong hands-on AKS / Kubernetes experience
8. CKA required (CKS preferred)
9. Experience with Azure DevOps and GitOps (Flux ideal)
10. Strong Linux background
11. Security-focused engineering mindset
