Site Setting Out Engineer
We are seeking a skilled Site Setting Out Engineer to join our team in Limerick.
Key Responsibilities:
* Setting out, checking technical designs and drawings to ensure accuracy and adherence to specifications.
* Preparing site reports and completing necessary paperwork.
* Providing technical advice and resolving issues on-site.
* Managing and supervising construction project components, liaising with subcontractors and professional staff.
* Supporting the Site Manager to ensure works are completed as per program and to a high standard.
* Maintaining excellent relationships with the construction management team, subcontractors, and site personnel.
* Utilizing GPS and Total Stations for setting out.
* Liaising with Site and Project Managers.
* Implementing company safety policies, ensuring compliance with RAMS (Risk Assessment and Method Statement).
* Managing subcontractors and compiling site progress reports.
Requirements:
* Bachelor's or Master's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
* Minimum 2-3 years of experience as a site engineer in a construction environment.
* Proficiency in using setting out instruments and competence in all aspects of set out, survey, and level, temporary works coordination.
* Thorough knowledge of computer and database applications, including Microsoft Office and Project/PowerPoint.
* Good knowledge and experience working in the Limerick area.
