**Job Title:** Data Governance Business Partner

About the Role:

* We are seeking a highly skilled professional to join our team as a Data Governance Business Partner.
* In this role, you will be responsible for implementing data governance standards, policies, and procedures into business operations.

Duties and Responsibilities:

1. Implementing data governance standards, policies, and procedures within allocated areas of the business.
2. Serving as the key data governance contact for allocated business areas, providing support and advice, and engaging with the allocated business unit on data governance priorities and action plans.
3. Assessing the current policies and processes of allocated business units and overseeing the achievement of local data governance KPIs.
4. Conducting regular data audits and assessments to identify data governance issues and working with business areas to prepare for data auditing and inspections.
5. Collaborating with other data governance professionals to deliver on the data governance plan and provide feedback on themes to enable continuous improvement and evolution of the data governance approach.
6. Fostering a culture of quality and data governance within the organization and promoting the importance of data governance across all departments.
7. Driving communication and collaboration between stakeholders to ensure effective data governance practices.
8. Encouraging continuous improvement by actively seeking feedback and supporting initiatives designed to enhance data quality and governance.

Requirements:

* Knowledge of applicable federal, state, and local regulations, rules, policies, and procedures related to data integrity.
* Demonstrated success in implementing and managing policies and standards within a regulated environment.
* Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
* Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills.
* Experience in the use of quality systems and/or change management.

Qualifications:

* A Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience in a relevant field.
* At least 7 years of professional experience in pharmaceutical/FDA-regulated work areas, such as data management & operations, quality assurance, compliance, manufacturing operations, quality control, or IT.
