Field Service & Maintenance TechnicianOur Client is seeking a highly motivated and skilled Field Service & Maintenance Technician to join our team. We specialise in the maintenance, servicing, and installation of advanced industrial parts-cleaning equipment across Leinster and Ireland. This role is essential to ensuring the optimal performance of our machinery installed at customer sites nationwide.Key Responsibilities & DutiesThe successful candidate will be responsible for the professional delivery of on-site service and maintenance for equipment, including but not limited to industrial parts-cleaning systems, ultrasonic equipment, automatic spray washers/wash cabinets, and related machinery.On-Site Service & MaintenanceCarry out scheduled maintenance, preventative checks, repairs, and comprehensive servicing of equipment at customer premises.Diagnostic Troubleshooting & RepairAccurately diagnose technical faults, organise required repairs, and perform corrective maintenance to restore equipment performance efficiently.Quality AssuranceClean, test, and calibrate machinery post-service to ensure all equipment meets operational standards and customer expectations.Represent the business professionally when interacting with customers. Take ownership of technical issues from initial diagnosis to successful resolution, ensuring customer satisfaction.Complete all job sheets, service reports, and related documentation accurately and submit them promptly after each task.Maintain appropriate stock levels of parts and consumables in the company service van, ensuring readiness for all service tasks.Provide structured daily and weekly updates on completed work, issues encountered, and planned activities to the Operations Manager.Customer Service & SupportDocumentation & AdministrationStock & Inventory ManagementOperational ReportingRequired Skills & ExperienceExperienceMinimum 2 years' proven experience in a field service, mechanical/electro-mechanical maintenance, or related technical role.Technical AbilityStrong troubleshooting skills with the ability to maintain, repair, and service industrial machinery.A full and clean Irish driving licence is essential.Must be physically fit and capable of manual handling, lifting, and performing hands-on service tasks.Excellent written and verbal English for clear customer communication and accurate reporting.Personable, professional, and able to engage with customers in a respectful and diplomatic manner.Ability to manage workload, prioritise tasks, follow schedules, and work independently.Strong understanding of standard Health & Safety protocols relevant to service and maintenance work.Full Clean Driving LicencePhysical CapabilityProfessional CommunicationCustomer-Focused ApproachOrganisational SkillsHealth & Safety AwarenessJob Types: Full-time, Apprenticeship, GraduatePay: From €35,000.00 per yearBenefits:Company carCompany pensionOn-site parkingWork Location: In person
