Nugent Workwear + Safety is a family-run business based in Dublin, specializing in high-quality workwear, corporate wear, and PPE for both private and public sector clients. Since our establishment in 1996, we have steadily grown into an industry leader in Ireland. We are currently looking for a motivated and dedicated Warehouse Operative to join our team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to be part of a fast-paced warehouse environment, supporting essential operational functions and ensuring smooth stock handling.
Key Responsibilities:
* Efficiently move stock within the warehouse to support operations.
* Accurately pick, pack, and dispatch orders in line with company procedures.
* Receive and process incoming goods, ensuring accurate put-away and accessibility.
* Follow all operating procedures and company policies.
* Conduct regular stock checks to maintain inventory accuracy.
* Use a computerised stock control system to manage inventory.
* Assist customers at the trade counter, providing excellent service.
* Handle inbound customer inquiries both at the trade counter and over the phone.
* Prepare customer quotes and process orders using the CRM system.
* Maintain a clean, organised, and safe working environment at all times.
Candidate Requirements:
* Highly flexible, reliable, and hardworking with a strong work ethic.
* Ability to work independently while maintaining keen attention to detail.
* Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
* Willingness to take on additional responsibilities when required.
* Previous experience in a trade counter or warehouse role is beneficial but not essential – full training will be provided.
* Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
* Good English literacy and numeracy skills.
* A valid driving licence is an advantage but not essential.
* Computer literacy, with the ability to use a computerised stock control system effectively.
