Overview
Amach is an industry-leading technology-driven company with headquarters in Dublin and remote teams in the UK and Europe. Established in 2013, we specialise in cloud migration and development, digital transformation including agile software development, DevOps, automation, data and machine learning. The Technical Delivery Manager will drive end-to-end planning and implementation of prioritised technical roadmap initiatives, guiding efficiency, data accuracy and employee experience. The successful candidate will work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver seamless and integrated solutions that align with our customer's strategic objectives. This role acts as a bridge between the business team and technical delivery for managing technical outcomes and optimisation of current applications in the operations of Serve ADS. This role operates in a hybrid model with candidates expected to work from our customer\'s Dublin office at least once per week.
Responsibilities
* Lead the end-to-end planning and delivery of technical roadmap initiatives, coordinating across cross-functional teams.
* Manage the governance processes and ensure interdependencies are factored into planning cycles.
* Collaborate with Architecture, Portfolio Lead, QA resources, and other tech leads to prioritise and move items from backlog to planning stages.
* Own the technical delivery scope, including planning, execution, reporting, and retirement of legacy applications.
* Oversee design and deployment of changes to meet business requirements and ensure appropriate testing from technical and business perspectives.
* Identify and address process improvements, reduce manual workloads, and improve data accuracy where opportunities exist.
* Ensure data integrity, security, and regulatory compliance; plan system performance monitoring as needed for continuity.
* Manage tech risks, communicate progress to management and the programme lead, and explore the use of AI and automation within delivery cycles.
* Collaborate with Product Owners, Portfolio & Delivery managers to incorporate stakeholder input and track progress and spend related to migrations.
* Foster collaboration across ADS groups to tackle dependencies and maintain timelines.
Required Skills & Experience
* Valid project management certification and experience in Information Technology or Business Administration.
* Proven experience leading large transformation projects, preferably in a large organisation.
* Experience with Agile project delivery and SAFe; knowledge of development, architecture and testing/release processes.
* Excellent project management skills with the ability to handle multiple priorities and deadlines.
* Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills; ability to translate technical concepts for non-technical audiences.
* Analytical and problem-solving abilities with a focus on delivering useful, innovative solutions.
* Experience in change management is advantageous to support system adoption and retirement of legacy processes and third-party vendors.
* Strategic mindset with ability to balance incremental decisions against overall business outcomes.
* Ability to identify dependencies, facilitate cross-team collaboration, and drive alignment with business priorities.
* Experience in risk and issue management, and reporting progress to leadership.
