Project Manager - Mechanical Installations
Job Description:
We are seeking a Project Manager to oversee mechanical installations on fit-out and modular build projects. The ideal candidate will have experience in managing construction projects, with a focus on quality and safety.
* Manage, monitor, and deliver mechanical contracts for customers, ensuring high standards of work and compliance with legal and statutory requirements.
* Provide technical support to customers and team members, resolving issues promptly and efficiently.
* Oversee in-house labor, ensuring accurate project timelines and resource allocation.
* Prepare quotes and variations for projects when required, maintaining accurate records and documentation.
* Monitor project costs and ensure accurate invoicing/payment applications, ensuring timely payment from customers.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
* A qualified plumbing/heating engineer with commercial and industrial experience, holding relevant certifications and qualifications.
* Supervisory/management experience is advantageous, with a proven track record of successful project delivery.
* Excellent time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
* Good knowledge of health, safety, environment, and quality systems, with a commitment to adhering to industry standards.
* Strong communication and IT skills, with proficiency in Excel, Word, and Outlook.
* A full UK driving license and willingness to travel, as required.
