Job Title: Air Export Agent
This is a challenging opportunity to work in the field of air exports, where you will be responsible for ensuring compliance with and implementation of customer-specific work processes and procedures.
Key Responsibilities:
* Entry of shipments and processing of import-export orders
* Supporting and advising the customers and agents
* Preparation and monitoring of quotation offers
* Ensuring and processing billing to customers
* Processing of special orders, as well as complaints
* Preparation of delivery dockets, customs documents, etc.
* Monitoring appointments
* Documentation and optimisation of workflows
* Support of supervisors in projects
* Documentation and filing of files
* Execute all Dangerous Goods shipments in compliance with all applicable laws and regulations
The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2 years of experience in Air Exports within the local market and ideally some Sea Freight Forwarding experience. Strong knowledge of customs brokerage processes, regulations, and classification, valuation, and origin procedures is also required. Familiarity with documentation processes for ocean, air, and road shipments is essential. Certification in Dangerous Goods (DGR) is desirable.
