DIRECTOR | INDEPENDENT WEALTH & FAMILY OFFICE | ROLE OVERVIEW
Our client is seeking a Director for their Independent Wealth and Family Office segment to join a growing and dynamic team and be part of a business at the leading edge of Wealth Management in Ireland. Focused on client delivery, the growing Private Wealth Management team can be described as energetic, collaborative and innovative.
The firm’s Independent Wealth and Family Office segment, provides tailored financial advisory services. This division focuses on high-net-worth individuals and families, offering bespoke investment, planning, and stewardship strategies designed to protect and grow wealth over the long term.
This role will offer the opportunity to develop successful commercial relationships with both existing and new clients.
The role is based from our clients Cork office with hybrid working.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Our client is seeking to appoint a Director who will provide advice on the firm’s wealth management proposition to clients both pre‑retirement and post‑retirement supported by dedicated Financial Planning and Client Services teams
Generate new business from servicing an existing client base, market channels, or other referrals
Prospecting for and acquiring new clients utilising the firm’s significant market access which offers the firm and its Private Clients team a competitive advantage in the Irish market.
Delivering the firm’s Wealth management proposition, the suitability of same and meeting all regulatory requirements as applied to advice
Work closely with team members supporting the delivery of an excellent specialist service to clients
Significant years’ experience working within Wealth Management
Experience of dealing with and owning the relationship for a book of similar segment clients
A keen interest in and strong understanding of financial markets (across all asset types)
Strong focus on delivering and exceeding client requirements and expectations
THE REQUIREMENTS
A highly regarded Wealth Management professional who has the qualifications and experience managing and growing a client book, together with a track record of success to thrive in our client’s environment
Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to relate to and build a trusting relationship with High‑Net Worth clients
Knowledge of the products available in the Irish market to address personal, family and business protection and pre and post‑retirement planning needs
Strong focus on delivering and exceeding client requirements and expectations
Excellent analytical, communication and writing skills with a complimentary professional presentation style
Numeracy and excellent organisation skills are essential for this position

LOCATION
