Electrical Engineer – EasyGo

We are building the next generation of EV infrastructure to support clean energy adoption, reduce carbon emissions, and deliver high-performance charging solutions for individuals, fleets, and businesses.
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Electrical Engineer to support the design, implementation, and maintenance of our EV charging infrastructure. This role is ideal for candidates with strong electrical engineering foundations, hands-on experience with field/site installations or maintenance, and a background in the energy or utilities sector.
Key Responsibilities:
* Lead or support the design, installation, and commissioning of EV charging stations and associated electrical systems.
* Conduct site assessments and feasibility studies for new installations.
* Coordinate with project managers, contractors, utility companies, and local authorities to ensure safe and compliant installation.
* Perform troubleshooting, testing, and maintenance of installed systems to ensure optimal performance.
* Ensure compliance with local, national, and international electrical codes and standards.
* Create and maintain detailed documentation including schematics, installation reports, and maintenance logs.
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support the development of new products and system upgrades.
Education:
* Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering (required)
* CEng (Chartered Engineer) is a plus
Experience:
* 3+ years of experience in electrical engineering roles, preferably in the energy, utilities, or renewable energy sectors
* Proven field experience in site installations, system commissioning, or maintenance of electrical systems
* Experience working with medium and low-voltage systems, electrical panels, and transformers
* Familiarity with EV charging infrastructure, power electronics, or battery systems is a strong advantage
* Strong knowledge of electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit)
* Understanding of relevant codes and standards (e.g., NEC, IEEE, IEC)
* Proficiency in using electrical test equipment and diagnostic tools
* Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
* Effective communication and interpersonal abilities
* Willingness to travel to site locations as needed
