Credit Control executive Part-Time | 4 Days per Week | Phone-Led | High Ownership Role We are currently working with a well-established organisation in Drogheda to recruit an Accounts Receivable / Credit Controlprofessional to join their finance team on a permanent, part-time basis (4 days per week).
This is a hands-on, phone-first credit control role requiring a self-starter who takes ownership of their ledger, works on their own initiative, and is confident making outbound calls to chase payments and resolve issues.
You will be trusted to manage your workload independently while working closely with the wider finance team.

Key Responsibilities: Take full ownership of the debtor ledger, managing accounts proactively and independently Drive a phone-led credit control approach, making regular outbound calls to customers regarding overdue balances Use your own initiative to prioritise accounts, escalate issues, and follow up until resolution Build and maintain strong customer relationships while firmly enforcing payment terms Negotiate and manage payment plans, ensuring commitments are met Monitor cash flow and highlight risks or concerns to the finance team Process and reconcile invoices, payments, and credit notes Investigate and resolve billing queries and discrepancies promptly Complete account reconciliations and aged debtor analysis Support credit limit reviews and assess credit risk for new and existing customers Prepare clear, accurate reports on collections activity Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with internal credit policies Collaborate with the wider finance team to support month-end and reporting Skills & Experience Required: Previous experience in Accounts Receivable and/or Credit Control Proven ability to work as a self-starter, using initiative and sound judgement Comfortable working autonomously and managing your own workload and priorities Strong, confident communicator particularly on the phone Results-driven with a proactive and persistent approach to collections High attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills Proficient in Excel and accounting systems For more information please apply through the link provided for the attention of Cloe Stapleton or call Osborne Recruitment on If you are interested in finding out more about the above role and would like to be considered other suitable roles that we may have available for your skill set please attach your CV via the link provided Please submit your updated CV in Word Format If you are living in Ireland and hold a valid work permit, we would love to hear from you, if however, you do not hold a valid work permit unfortunately we will not be in a position to assist you with your job search.
