Seeking an Experienced Project Manager to Oversee Residential Development in Kildare
About the Role
We are currently recruiting for a Project Manager to join our team and lead an exciting residential development project in Kildare. The successful candidate will have experience managing new build housing developments from greenfield to handover in the social housing sector.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for coordinating and monitoring construction drawings, specifications and work requirements. They will also liaise with the design team to ensure works are completed according to the programme.
In this role, you will report to the Contracts Manager and direct and manage personnel, site staff and subcontractors. You will also coordinate weekly progress meetings, workshops and plan actions.
You will be responsible for monitoring construction to ensure quality of work and coordinate and liaise with Contracts Manager, Site Engineers and Service Coordinators to ensure all personnel have accurate and timely information.
Key Responsibilities:
* Coordinate and monitor construction drawings, specifications and work requirements.
* Liaise with the design team to ensure works are completed according to the programme.
* Direct and manage personnel, site staff and subcontractors.
* Monitor construction to ensure quality of work.
Requirements:
* Degree in Construction Management or similar (Third level qualification).
* A minimum of 5 years' experience working with a Main Contractor on Housing Developments in Ireland.
* Ability to effectively manage site programme and associated schedules to required deadlines.
* Experience managing multiple subcontractors at a time.
