Key Responsibilities
Structural design of buildings
Engagement with clients, design teams, and local authorities for project delivery
Manage design outputs to meet quality, timeline, and budget requirements
Assist in procuring new work in residential, commercial, and industrial sectors
Construction monitoring and reporting
Adhere to RPS procedures and quality systems
Essential Qualifications and Skills
Degree in Civil/Structural Engineering (Level 8), Masters preferred
Minimum 4 years’ relevant experience in building structural design
Chartered or near-chartered status
Knowledge of Eurocodes
Strong analytical, numerical, and communication skills
Proficiency with structural analysis and modeling software (Robot, Tekla, Tedds, Masterseries, etc.)
Leadership and interpersonal skills
Proactive and adaptable approach
Desired Attributes
Experience working in a Level 2 BIM environment
Collaboration with multidisciplinary teams
Experience as a C&S Technical Advisor
Design experience with liquid retaining structures
Knowledge of building regulations and safety standards
Experience in structural surveying and project management
