About Quality Assurance Engineering
Our organization is looking for a Quality Assurance Engineer to lead the way in ensuring the highest quality standards are met. This role plays a key part in contributing to our global strategy and delivering on our mission.
This position is responsible for developing, modifying, applying, and maintaining quality standards and protocols for processing materials into partially finished or finished materials product.
* Collaborates with engineering and manufacturing functions to ensure quality standards are in place.
* Devises and implements methods and procedures for inspecting, testing, and evaluating the precision and accuracy of products and production equipment.
* Works on non-conformance investigations.
* Evaluates corrective measures to meet acceptable reliability standards and ensures documentation complies with requirements.
* Contributes to continuous improvement activities to support business objectives.
* May collaborate in areas such as design, incoming material, production control, product evaluation, and reliability, inventory control, and/or research and development as they apply to product or process quality.
* Ensures compliance to all applicable departmental and site-wide procedures and regulations.
Requirements:
* A bachelor's degree (Level 7 NFQ) in Engineering/Science or a related discipline with at least 1-year relevant direct Science/Engineering experience within a medical device environment.
* Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills.
* PRACTICAL working knowledge of statistical data analysis, problem-solving, and quality improvement tools and techniques preferable.
* Technical writing skills.
* Ability to multi-task and take initiative essential.
* Effective time management skills.
* Built and maintains positive relationships with others; shows respect and consideration for others.
