Clinical Nurse Manager 3 - Critical Care Unit Permanent Contract, Full Time Hours. The Clinical Nurse Manager 3 (CNM3): holds strategic, operational, and managerial responsibility for the delivery of nursing services within the Critical Care Unit. will be expected to demonstrate transformational leadership, drive innovation, and ensure that patient dignity and respect are central to all aspects of care delivery. has key responsibilities including leading initiatives to improve access and ensuring that care standards align with national and international best practices. will be a credible and visible leader, capable of empowering and developing staff within the clinical environment. will foster a culture of continuous improvement and actively engage staff in change management and service development projects. The successful candidate will be expected to: Co-ordinate and manage the activity and resources within the Critical Care Unit to deliver a safe, effective nursing service while ensuring full utilisation of resource and capacity in the best interest of patients and families. Be responsible for ensuring an optimum clinical environment for all nursing and nursing support staff and the maintenance and development of professional patient care standards. Be responsible for the provision of the best standard of nursing care to patients. Eligibility Criteria - Eligible applicants will be those who on the closing date for the competition: Are registered in the relevant division of the Register of Nurses & Midwives maintained by the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Ireland (NMBI / Bord Altranais agus Cnimhseachais na hireann) or entitled to be so registered. Have at least 5 years post registration full time (or an aggregate of 5 years post registration full time) experience of which 2 years (or an aggregate of 2 years post registration full time experience) must be in the speciality or related area. Have the clinical, managerial and administrative capacity to properly discharge the functions of the role. Candidates must demonstrate evidence of continuous professional development.
