About The Role
As we continue to expand to provide additional services to meet the needs of those we care for, we currently have a number of opportunities within our Orchard Community Care division, in Co. Sligo and Roscommon, including this key role of Person in Charge (Social Care Leader).
The purpose of the role is to provide the highest possible standards of support to those who use Orchard Community Care services. To ensure the service aligns with Government and Health Service Executive (HSE) policies. The Manager will work autonomously and with initiative.
The ideal candidate would preferably have experience working with autism. The Manager will act as the Person in Charge for existing services, ensuring compliance with Department of Health Regulations and HIQA Standards.

Essential Criteria
* A minimum of 3 years in a management or supervisory role in health or social care
* A relevant degree (minimum level 7) in Social or Health Care
* Level 6 Management qualification
* Proven track record managing residential services meeting quality and legislative requirements
* Full current driving license with access to a vehicle in Ireland
Service Delivery
* Lead on shift when on duty
* Participate in direct care following care plans and protocols
* Assess needs and develop individualized care plans
* Implement care interventions and monitor outcomes
Training & Development
* Assist in training and orienting new team members
* Organize and facilitate training programs
Compliance & Documentation
* Maintain accurate documentation of care plans and assessments
* Ensure timely completion of documentation by team members
Quality Assurance
* Implement quality improvement initiatives
* Conduct audits to ensure standards are met
Communication & Collaboration
* Foster a positive team environment and promote effective communication
