Tax Specialist - Belfast MCS Group is delighted to be partnering with a well established Practice based in Belfast, looking to recruit for a Tax Specialist on a full time, permanent basis.
The Company: A growing Belfast-based Practice is seeking a Tax Specialist to support continued expansion.
The role involves overseeing key tax deadlines, reviewing compliance, and coordinating tax advice across areas such as M&A, private equity, and IHT.
The team values development, a strong work/life balance, and operates a no-overtime culture with offices closing at 1pm every Friday.
Job Duties of the Tax Specialist Include: Compliance/Advisory (60/40) Personal tax R&D tax Involved in a broad range of work, including delivering high-quality corporate tax advisory services to businesses and providing tax advice to individuals.
This includes M&A transactional support, Inheritance Tax (IHT) planning, and corporate tax matters.
What You Need to be the Successful Tax Specialist? Appropriate UK professional qualification (ACA/ACCA/CTA/ATT) Committed to delivering exceptional client service with a proactive and client-focused approach.
A self-motivated professional with experience in managing and mentoring junior team members.
Skilled in reviewing personal and corporate tax compliance, including for corporate groups.
Significant tax experience.
Strong Personal and Corporate tax experience Strong organisational skills Experience of developing and maintaining strong relationships with clients.
