Overview
Intermediate Quantity Surveyor opportunity in Cork to join our Life Science team. The successful candidate will work alongside the Project Commercial Manager and client team, responsible for various tasks.

Responsibilities
* Evaluate and agree on project scope variations with contractors and clients.
* Compile and agree on final accounts.
* Report to the Project Commercial Team.
* Support the SQS & MQS commercial functions, including preparing tenders, analyzing, negotiating, and managing subcontractor orders and final accounts.
* Maintain site records and document control.
* Assist in preparing forecasts, targets, and CV reconciliations.
* Manage valuations and variations, ensuring proper records and timely submission.
* Liaise with site management to influence and protect commercial and contractual entitlements.
* Understand and participate in CVR, risk/opportunity reviews, insurances/warranties, and cash management.
* Support tender processes and oversee AQS & TQS work.
* Maintain site records and control documents.
Experience
* Strong written and verbal communication skills.
* Proficiency in technology platforms and the Standard Method of Measurement.
* Ownership and commercial awareness.
* Effective time management, organizational, interpersonal, and negotiation skills.
* Experience in Building Services is advantageous but not essential.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word.
Qualifications
* Degree-level education with progress toward relevant professional accreditation.
* JCT, negotiation, CVRs, safety, and commercial appreciation qualifications.
* CIOB membership is desirable.
