The job involves leading a team of Regional Managers to oversee the receipt and management of unsolicited information, including queries management, notifications from providers, protected disclosures, and investigations in nursing homes under the Patient Safety Act.
Key responsibilities include supporting the Healthcare Regulation Directorate with unsolicited information, queries, and protected disclosures received for that directorate. The post holder will also be responsible for communicating HIQA's function and purpose in an open, transparent manner through engagement with services users, service providers, and the general public.
* Degree qualification (Level 8 on the National Framework of Qualifications or equivalent) in a Health or social care related field relevant for the post
* Full current driving licence and access to own transport
* At least three years' experience working in a leadership position in an acute health setting or regulatory environment
