Delta V Operations Engineer 1573 Simo Tech require a Delta V Operations Engineer to join our team, supporting a biotech manufacturing facility for our multinational biopharma client based in Limerick.
You will join a state-of-the-art facility, incorporating new technologies, with a specific focus on operational flexibility, environmental sustainability, and fast track delivery concepts.
The successful candidate will bring approximately 5 years of experience in Delta V Automation within the Life Sciences Industry and will work in conjunction with a team of Engineers and Developers to design, enhance and support Delta V control systems.
Key Responsibilities Drive design and enhancement activities across Delta V control systems and equipment in collaboration with System Integrator Engineers and Developers.
Carry out solution assessments and performance reviews to ensure smooth operation of automated systems.
Partner with project teams to support the integration of new equipment or technologies into the manufacturing workflow.
Provide training and mentorship to other engineers on site where applicable.
Ensure all work is completed in compliance with pharmaceutical Industry standards including GAMP, S-88 Batch Standard, and 21 CFR Part 11.
Qualifications Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science or Life Sciences.
Minimum of 5 years' experience in a pharmaceutical DCS environment using Emerson Delta V.
Minimum of 5 years' experience with Delta V control system design.
Strong knowledge of pharmaceutical industry standards including GAMP, S-88 Batch Standard, and 21 CFR Part 11.
Ability to work efficiently both individually and as part of a team.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
