Role Summary:
We are seeking a Senior Quantity Surveyor with an Electrical background to join our Electrical Commercial Team. This role involves supporting both domestic and overseas projects, providing career growth opportunities within a supportive environment.
Responsibilities:
1. Support the Construction Team with all Quantity Surveying functions, including contract compliance and monitoring.
2. Identify potential commercial risks and report them promptly.
3. Prepare monthly progress applications, including remeasurements, site variations, day-works, or claims.
4. Handle procurement activities and contract support in collaboration with the Procurement Department.
5. Manage subcontractor accounts from award to final account.
6. Forecast project turnover and cash flow.
7. Review and manage the financial aspects of projects for accurate reporting.
8. Analyze and report on business and project trends.
9. Review correspondence from employers, design teams, and subcontractors to identify critical contractual items.
10. Ensure contractual requirements are met and provide advice and monitoring.
11. Perform other duties as required.
Key Skills and Requirements:
1. Relevant third-level qualification in Quantity Surveying or Construction Economics.
2. Experience with an M&E Contractor is preferable but not essential.
3. Electrical industry experience is required.
4. Ability to work independently and within a team.
5. Excellent communication and presentation skills.
