Lead Business Intelligence Analyst
Job Summary:
As a senior data professional, you will play a pivotal role in driving business growth through strategic decision-making. You will leverage advanced analytical skills to identify patterns and opportunities within complex datasets, providing actionable insights that inform our business strategy.
Responsibilities:
* Analyse large, diverse datasets to extract meaningful information, identifying key trends, correlations, and potential areas of improvement.
* Develop and maintain comprehensive dashboards and reports using SQL, BI tools, and data visualization techniques to effectively communicate findings to stakeholders.
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, implement, and refine data pipelines, ensuring seamless integration with existing systems and processes.
* Partner with senior leadership to align analytics priorities with business objectives, fostering a culture of data-driven decision-making.
* Stay up-to-date with industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies to continuously enhance analytical capabilities and stay ahead of the competition.
Requirements:
* 6+ years of experience in data science, business analysis, or a related field, preferably within finance, e-commerce, or financial services.
* Proficiency in SQL, Python, and/or R for data manipulation, analysis, and automation.
* Familiarity with business intelligence tools, such as Tableau, Looker, Power BI, and cloud data platforms like BigQuery, Snowflake.
* Strong understanding of statistical and machine learning concepts, including regression, classification, clustering, and more.
* Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to distill complex data into actionable insights and influence stakeholders.
* Proven track record of working effectively in cross-functional teams to deliver measurable business outcomes.
* Bachelor's degree in a quantitative discipline, such as statistics, mathematics, computer science, or economics, or equivalent experience; advanced degree a plus.
Preferred Qualifications:
* Experience working with big data technologies, such as Hadoop, Spark, or NoSQL databases.
* Knowledge of programming languages, such as Java, C++, or JavaScript.
* Familiarity with data governance, data quality, and data security best practices.
* Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks, and managing multiple projects simultaneously.
