Employee Relations Partner is responsible for supporting functional, jurisdictional and subject matter expertise within the area of Employee Relations, where they counsel managers and employees, and increasingly provides coaching, mentorship and guidance to Leaders and Employees on a broad range of complex and sensitive issues.
The ER Partner serves as an escalation point and works closely with internal teams and leadership. They are a key contributor in streamlining and standardizing HR policies and practices to enable HR organisations to be more effective in managing human capital.
Core Duties:
Provides guidance and coaching to the People Team and/or to managers regarding the
interpretation of policies and programs, employment legislation, compliance and operational
effectiveness and improvements; manages consultant workload to performance metrics for
his/her jurisdiction; provides specialist expertise and jurisdictionally advice and interpretation
on employment legislation for critical and/or complex cases. Conducts investigations for
escalated and/or complex employee relations complaints, grievances and ethics notices
(e.g., discrimination, harassment, retaliation). Builds and maintains strong, trust-based
relationships with key stakeholders at all levels of the business and external vendors. Supports the business end and end with any individual or collective re-organizational or re-structuring activities.

Prerequisite Knowledge & Proficiencies:
* Knowledge and understanding of employment legislation, its interpretation and implementation, and of employment practices in Ireland and the UK.
* HR generalist knowledge which s/he can leverage to independently mitigate business, reputational and financial risk
* Leading and participating in large projects
* Passionate about coaching and developing manager capabilities
* Experience at using effective listening, probing and investigatory skills to handle
* complex, sensitive enquiries and conversations with discretion, composure and
* compassion
* Analytical mindset, able troubleshooter adept at analysing large amounts of detailed
* information, diagnosing problems and recommending appropriate solutions to senior
* business leaders.
* Demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced, multi-cultural, global organization and to
* build strong trust-based relationships with remote client groups and colleagues
* Ability to deliver high levels of performance and service excellence while managing
* high volume workload in a collaborative team environment
* Experience in preparation and delivery of presentations/training to managers.
Experience:
* 6 or more years in area of Human Resources in a global organization
* 4 years or more, Employee Relations: jurisdictional or functional expertise
* Experience working with remote teams preferred
