Maintenance Technician Role
BioMarin's Maintenance Technician plays a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our manufacturing facilities. This position requires a highly skilled and experienced individual to maintain process, utility, and facility equipment in accordance with cGMP regulations and safety considerations.
Responsibilities:
* Proactively maintain process, utility, and facility equipment in accordance with cGMP regulations and safety considerations.
* Maintain equipment in various areas, including manufacturing operations, clean and plant utility systems, WWTP, and HVAC.
* Interact with process partners to continuously improve operations by recognizing and correcting causes of less than optimal equipment performance.
* Manage external vendor support to complete required services in a GMP compliant manner.
Requirements:
* A relevant third-level qualification in engineering or time-served apprenticeship with 3+ years' experience in a GMP environment, preferably in bio-pharmaceuticals or equivalent industry.
* Excellent organizational skills and ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot complex equipment issues.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact with various stakeholders, including process partners and vendors.
