Revenue Accountant Role
This position is open to join the Global Revenue Accounting Team in a Leading Biotech facility in Ringaskiddy, Cork. The selected candidate will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy of financial reporting and supporting various business functions including Commercial, Legal, Market Access, and Finance.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare and review financial reports and records, including month and quarter-end close activities, balance sheet reconciliations, and GTN accrual preparation.
- Validate and process rebate claims according to commercial contracts and accruals.
- Assist with reviewing and analyzing commercial contracts under ASC 606 to ensure appropriate revenue recognition treatment.
- Collaborate with colleagues across Finance and other departments for ex-US commercial and payer contract structure analysis to assess revenue recognition impact under ASC 606.
- Support the year-end financial audit and the SOX audit.
- Assist with preparing SEC Reports for 10-Q filing.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in revenue accounting or a similar finance role.
- Proficiency in accounting software and MS Office Suite, particularly Excel.
- Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- Fully Qualified Accountant (ACA or ACCA preferred).
- Ability to meet deadlines and work effectively under pressure.
- Familiarity with Sarbanes Oxley and internal controls is desirable.
- Experience with SAP S4 Hana / Vistex is advantageous.
- Results-oriented, flexible, resourceful, & self-motivated with the ability to manage multiple deliverables.
