The Role
TCS Letterkenny is offering a Graduate Programme for tech‑savvy, enthusiastic individuals seeking to accelerate their careers in IT. Support Engineers are part of a team that provides IT Support Services, ensuring that daily operations are in order and that services are restored when required.
Responsibilities
Based on the ITIL framework, support associates manage incidents, service requests, problem management, develop knowledge articles, and collaborate with other functions such as change management. Typical incidents range from basic support tasks to restoring mission‑critical services and infrastructure components.
Incident Management
Maintain, support, and enhance existing services.
Support live systems operational in hospitals across the EU.
Participate in continuous service improvement plans.
Manage daily caseload, update cases, and resolve incidents.
Candidate Profile
We are looking for recent graduates and postgraduates with a degree in IT, computer science, or a technology‑related subject. Desired qualities include:
Passionate about solving problems.
Obsessive about customers and providing exceptional services.
Able to learn and adopt relevant new technologies.
Proactive and innovative mindset.
Qualifications
Successful applicants must have B2 fluency or greater in English and a second European language (German, Italian, French, or Spanish) at B2 level or better. Desirable foundation knowledge in key IT areas such as Windows Server, Linux, databases, applications, and networking is also preferred.
