Job Title: Maintenance Technician Hours: 12.5-hour rotating shifts (days, evenings & nights) Reports To: Maintenance Manager Job Summary: Responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing production equipment to ensure efficient, safe, and continuous operations.
The role includes responding to breakdowns, performing preventative maintenance, and supporting production targets while adhering to safety, quality, and operational standards.
Key Responsibilities: Carry out preventative and condition-based maintenance tasks Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems Monitor equipment performance and address issues proactively Support continuous improvement and reliability initiatives Accurately update CMMS and maintenance records Collaborate with teams and contractors for installations and upgrades Ensure compliance with all safety, quality, and environmental policies Requirements: Trade qualification (Electrician or Fitter) Minimum 3 years maintenance experience post-apprenticeship Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills Familiarity with high-speed production equipment and PLC systems Proficient in using CMMS and basic PC applications Strong attention to detail, problem-solving ability, and initiative Key Attributes: Team player with strong communication skills Flexible, self-motivated, and results-driven Committed to safety, quality, and continuous improvement Interested?
