This is a fantastic opportunity to apply your technical skills to real-world, large-scale projects while contributing to the efficiency and sustainability of cutting-edge infrastructure.What You'll DoSupport CFD analysis of airflow and cooling performance in data centres (HELYX, OpenFOAM, ANSYS, SimScale, or similar)Post-process results and create clear visual summaries for senior engineersAssist in validating CFD models with real-world operational dataWork with design and sustainability teams to evaluate cooling performance and water use impactsHelp develop and refine in-house modelling toolsDocument assumptions, inputs, and interpretations for CFD workflowsOccasionally support experimental thermal and water modelling projectsBasic QualificationsBachelor's degree (or studying toward one) in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace, or related fieldStrong understanding of fluid dynamics and heat transferHands-on CFD experience with tools like HELYX, OpenFOAM, ANSYS, or SimScaleBasic Python scripting and Excel analysisStrong written and verbal communication skillsEagerness to learn new workflows and standardsPreferred Qualifications1–3 years' experience in HVAC, data centre cooling, electronics cooling, or building servicesKnowledge of psychometrics, airside economizers, or evaporative cooling systemsExperience scripting or automating CFD workflows (Python, bash, macros)Familiarity with sustainability metrics (PUE, WUE)Passion for sustainable and scalable infrastructure solutionsWhy Join Us?
