Job Title: Culinary Team Leader
About the Role:
This position involves leading a high-performing culinary team, collaborating with the Head Chef to manage kitchen operations and oversee food quality and presentation.
Main Responsibilities:
* Support the Head Chef in menu planning, development, and daily specials coordination
* Directly supervise and mentor kitchen staff, ensuring seamless kitchen operations and efficient workflows
* Maintain the highest standards of food quality and presentation throughout all meals
* Monitor preparation and cooking activities, overseeing your section during service hours
* Collaborate in inventory management, ordering, and maintaining kitchen supplies and equipment
Requirements:
* Proven experience as a senior kitchen leader or Sous Chef in a high-volume kitchen environment
* Strong leadership skills and experience managing teams, emphasizing motivation and employee growth
* Exceptional knowledge of food safety protocols and kitchen hygiene best practices
* Able to perform under pressure and maintain a composed working environment
