Part Qualified Accountant with Payroll
We are seeking a driven and detail-oriented Part Qualified Accountant to join our team. As a key member of our finance department, you will be responsible for ensuring accuracy and efficiency in our accounts and payroll processes.
About the Role:
* Key Responsibilities:
* Prepare weekly/bi-weekly/monthly payroll including gross pay, overtime, deductions, reconciliations, journals, accruals, queries etc.
* Process compensation and benefits changes e.g. salary adjustments, back-pay, monitoring dates as appropriate.
* Calculate additional payments e.g. pension, health insurance, car allowances, bonus runs etc. as required.
* Complete documentation for tax, social welfare authorities and employees, including year-end payroll administration.
* Completion of invoicing, bank reconciliations, supplier payments, revenue returns.
* Producing finance reports and analysis as required.
* General administration duties as required.
* Credit Control.
* Maintain accounting documents and records.
* File PAYE/VAT Returns.
* Actively participate in department process improvement initiatives.
* Accounts Payable/Receivable and GL.
Qualifications and Skills:
* Apart from Part Qualified Accountant status (e.g., ACCA, CIMA, CPA, etc.) or equivalent experience, we require strong understanding of accounting principles and knowledge of / willingness to learn payroll processes.
* You must also possess proficiency in accounting software and MS Excel.
* Able to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment is essential.
