Technical Sales Engineer
Location: Ireland (Must be willing to travel)
Employment Type: Full-time, Permanent
My client, a leading manufacturer of Hydralics, is seeking an experienced Technical sales engineer. They will be responsible for leading and managing sales activities across North Europe.
Key responsibilities:
- Identify and acquire new customers
- Provide technical and commercial support for new and existing customers.
- Grow customer accounts and secure new accounts with market leaders
- Coordination projects and support communication between R&D, engineering, quality and customers
- Handle RFI's & RFQ from initial acquisition through to costing, tendering and internal follow up
- Collaborate with the internal team to achieve objectives and foster strong teamwork
- Attend trade fairs
- Travel to Northern Ireland, Germany and other locations as required
Skills and qualifications:
- Technical education required (Mechanical engineering or comparable)
- 2-5 years sales experience
- Extensive experience in mobile hydraulics technology, within the OEM market
- Expert in hydraulic cylinders is a strong advantage
- Full driving licence
- Must be willing to travel
