We are looking for an experienced Child & Adolescent Psychiatrist to work in Letterkenny.
This appointment will be to Donegal Mental Health Services for 12 months on a full time basis of 37 hours per week.
Main duties: To provide specialist assessment, diagnostic formulation and treatment of mental illnesses and/or mental disorders in individuals under the age of 18 years in accordance with the National Standardised Operating Procedure for CAMHS for subsequent national policies, procedures and /or guidelines.
To triage all referrals to CAMHS service in conjunction with other members of the multi-disciplinary team.
To maintain appropriate and contemporaneous medical records of all clinical contacts.
To provide prompt notification to the Executive Clinical Director and the Mental Health Commission of serious untoward incidents in accordance with the relevant regulations.
