Overview
As a Business Analyst, you will be responsible for translating business specifications into effective and efficient solutions by optimising, improving and analysing business processes and gathering, translating and validating user requirements.
You will liaise with Executives, Managing Directors and various business functions to elaborate stated requirements to sufficient level of detail that accurately defines the business need within specified scope.
In addition, you will also be required to lead the planning, coordination, and execution of testing activities to ensure the solution meets quality standards.
Responsibilities
Business analysis planning in collaboration with stakeholders
Assist in developing the Business case
Explore, identify and document stakeholder needs
Validate requirements meet the business need
Assess solutions to ensure that strategic objectives are met and requirements are satisfied
Determine solution approach
Manage the approved solution and requirements' scope
Prepare and communicate requirements to stakeholders
Facilitate consistency and efficiency by re-using requirements whenever possible
Extracting data and analysing the information to define the reporting requirements more effectively and guide business where necessary
Connecting to data sources (aka different data, touch points) and creating data models and data mapping if required by the project.
Defining all the systems touch points that are in scope for the project
Define test strategy and plans based on project scope and requirements
Oversee test execution, defect tracking, and reporting
Communicate with stakeholders on test progress, risks, and outcomes
Qualifications
Experience: Business Analysis Qualification or Advanced Business Analysis Diploma/ Certification are highly valued or with 3 to 5 years of experience in business analysis including testing.
Technical Skills
Analytical thinking and attention to detail

Process Engineering/Systems Competence
Captures business needs clearly via use cases, user stories, and specifications
Visualizes workflows using flowcharts or swimlane diagrams
Helps validate solutions through test cases, scripts, and defect tracking
Experience with project management Methodology such as Agile, Scrum, Waterfall, or hybrid frameworks
